Foro Penal warns about a hunger strike by detainees at El Rodeo I

At least 100 political prisoners held at the El Rodeo I Judicial Internment Center in Miranda state have reportedly started a hunger strike to demand their release, following the approval of the Amnesty Law by the National Assembly last Thursday.

The information was provided by Alfredo Romero, the director of the NGO Foro Penal, who indicated through his X social media account that relatives of the detainees reported the start of the protest.
