π¦π·π»πͺ Former Argentine official Claudio Uberti is now in prison after the Supreme Court upheld his conviction in the Antonini Wilson suitcase case, activist Elisa Trotta reported on her Twitter account. According to the activist, βJustice may be slow, but it comes,β she wrote, recalling the shipment of nearly $800,000 in 2007 and noting that, after 19 years, βthose who stole money from Venezuelans are beginning to fall.β
Trotta maintained that Uberti was one of the key links between Kirchnerism and Chavismo and emphasized: βLet no one forget: Chavista corruption was not just the plundering of Venezuela, it was also an international network of complicity that sooner or later will have to answer for its actions.β
βUberti arrived in Buenos Aires in the early hours of August 4, 2007, on the plane from Caracas with Antonini Wilson and the briefcase full of cash dollars. Today he is locked up in the Ezeiza Federal Prison, after the Supreme Court upheld his conviction.β
