ABC: Chavista environment seeks to negotiate a safe exit for Maduro with figures close to Trump

Nicolás Maduro's entourage is intensifying maneuvers through discreet channels to establish contact with figures close to US President Donald Trump. This was reported by the Spanish newspaper ABC this Sunday, December 28, noting that the aim of this rapprochement is to explore an agreed exit from power that guarantees Maduro's personal safety.

According to the sources consulted by ABC, these contacts have been made through intermediaries linked to Richard Grenell, the former US ambassador to Germany and a former official with direct access to Trump's entourage. Although Grenell has previously participated in sensitive missions in Caracas, the report clarifies that there is no record of him acting under an official mandate from US institutions on this occasion.
Some users believe that Trump's "attack" refers to the Prismazol factory that caught fire on December 24th.

However, the company itself issued a statement claiming that it was a workplace accident and an infrastructure failure, that there were no injuries, and that they are conducting investigations in conjunction with the CICPC.
