A 25-year-old young man, identified as José Alexander Barrera Franceschi, was the victim of a brutal assault by six officers of the PNB on Raúl Leoni Avenue in Barcelona, Anzoátegui state, on November 22, 2025.
The officers approached him allegedly because he did not have the papers for his SBR 2025 motorcycle, and despite his willingness to resolve the situation, they violently beat him and detained him. Barrera Franceschi's motorcycle was protected by outraged neighbors who witnessed the abuse.

Avior will maintain domestic and international flights despite FAA air alert
One of the main Venezuelan airlines, Avior, spoke out this weekend to announce that it will maintain its operations nationally and internationally with total normality.
"As president of Avior Airlines, I want to convey reassurance to our passengers: all our domestic and international flights continue to operate normally," said the company's president, Juan Bracamonte, on his X account this Saturday.

Andrés Guillermo Carvajal Díaz, No. 93,295,872, Colombian nationality 🇨🇴, and Jesús Alberto Espinoza Arrizaga, ID: 23,705,547, Venezuelan 🇻🇪, as well as the seizure and disabling of a CESNA 210 aircraft from Guyana with covered markings, who violated Venezuelan airspace, making an emergency landing on the indigenous runway of Kamarata, Kavak tourist sector, Gran Sabana municipality, Bolívar state, where they were intercepted.
At the time of inspection, the aircraft showed modifications to the co-pilot door, with a cargo release device through the door, as well as internal fuel tanks for greater range, leading to the presumption that it was a vehicle prepared and used for illicit trafficking of narcotics and psychotropic substances.
Inside the aircraft, they also seized 3 Garmin GPS devices, 18,590,000 Colombian pesos, 3 cell phones, and 1 satellite phone.
