🇨🇴🇻🇪 "We are not going to defend Maduro, who you say violates Human Rights": Petro

President Gustavo Petro held an act of recognition by the State for the members of the José Alvear Restrepo Lawyers Collective. This was in compliance with a ruling by the Inter-American Court of Human Rights.

"We are not going to defend Maduro, who you yourselves have said violates Human Rights. There are Colombians imprisoned there whose condition I cannot comment on regarding the events they have been involved in, but we have requested that those imprisoned Colombians be here," said Petro.
Petro wants to unite police forces from South America, including Venezuela, to "end drug trafficking"
