Colombia's National Police prevented an explosive attack on the Supreme Court building in Bogotá, the South American country's presidency reported.
The plot to attack the Palace of Justice was discovered after authorities raided a house in the south of the country's capital on Thursday and found explosives and a model of the building, the report added.

"The National Government has responded promptly to the recent security alert issued by the National Police, which pointed out possible risks for the Supreme Court of Justice, immediately implementing additional measures to protect this institution," the Presidency said in a statement.
