Lula suggests the idea of forming a coalition government that integrates Chavismo and the opposition in Venezuela or new presidential elections.
Petro also suggests new elections and a “transitional cohabitation government”
The Colombian president said in a tweet a few minutes ago that “a political solution for Venezuela that brings peace and prosperity to its people depends on Nicolás Maduro.”
He pointed out the points that, in his opinion, a political agreement in Venezuela should have:

- General national and international amnesty.
- Full guarantees for political action.
- Transitional cohabitation government.
- New free elections.

"We have been clear in our stance of open arms and no persecution or revenge for the government supporters, and this applies to the armed forces as well. We would not have been able to access the records if there hadn't been cooperation from the troops. We are willing, but the regime has refused so far.
[...] The regime is very worried because they know they have lost all legitimacy within the Armed Forces. The government is not monolithic or hierarchical, but rather heterarchical, with many competing interests and agendas, whose greed has pitted them against each other."
