"The Public Prosecutor's Office of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela informs the country that as a consequence of the dissemination of a Communiqué by former candidate Edmundo González and citizen María Corina Machado, in which, outside the framework of the Constitution and the Law, they falsely announce a winner of the presidential elections different from the one proclaimed by the National Electoral Council, the only qualified body to do so, and in which there is an open incitement to police and military officials to disobey the laws; it has decided to open a criminal investigation against both signatories of the null document.
In the aforementioned statement, the alleged commission of the crimes of Usurpation of Functions, Dissemination of False Information to Cause Unrest, Incitement to Disobedience of the Laws, Incitement to Insurrection, Association to Commit Crimes, and Conspiracy is evident.
The Public Prosecutor's Office, as the holder of the criminal action and in its duty to be the guarantor of peace and stability in the country, will remain vigilant against any act that implies the generation of violence or unrest in the population and that seeks to revive events that have left painful wounds in the entire Venezuelan family."

Elvis Amoroso submits electoral records to the TSJ but canceled his statements
The president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Elvis Amoroso, went to the headquarters of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) to submit the minutes of the counting of votes from the polling stations, for the final total of the presidential elections of July 28.
According to official media, the court also presented evidence of the alleged cyber attack on the computer system.
It should be noted that Amoroso went to the TSJ together with the 4 main rectors and 8 substitutes. He signed the record of the consignment, however, it was not clear in what format the requested records were delivered.
Although a statement to the media was planned, it was suspended.

Edmundo González announced that he will not attend the TSJ (Supreme Court), summons: "If I attend, I will put my freedom and the will of the people at risk."
This is in relation to the appeal filed by Nicolás Maduro to certify the alleged result announced by the CNE.
González claimed that the process carried out by the Electoral Chamber does not correspond to any legal procedure.
The candidate questioned the summons made by the media and the lack of clarity regarding the procedure.
"Maduro has said that if I do not appear, I will incur legal responsibilities, and if I submit copies of the minutes, there will be serious criminal responsibilities ."
He warned that the powers of the Electoral Power are being ignored and that the tasks of totalization and audits have not been completed .
González concluded by stating that the CNE has not yet produced a result for the presidential elections in accordance with the Constitution and the law.
