On this day, April 20, 1889, Adolf Hitler was born in the town of Braunau am Inn within the Austro-Hungarian Empire 🏰. In his youth, he worked as a painter 🎨, and later turned to politics to lead the National Socialist German Workers' Party, becoming one of the most prominent figures of the 20th century 🌍.

"When a British statesman today demands that every problem affecting Germany's vital interests be discussed first with England, I also have the right to demand that every British problem be discussed with us first... They will certainly answer: 'Germany has no business in Palestine!' To which I reply that we want nothing in Palestine... And I would like to pose the counter-question: What right gives England the authority to shoot Arabs in Palestine simply for defending their homeland? Who gave them this right?"
