For the occasion, our friends at FFE have organized a truly impressive virtual exhibition. These galleries will allow you to travel in time and discover the fascinating history of chess in France.

In these galleries, you will find giants like Philidor and Alekhine, but also not-so-well-known names by the general public, like the first French Champion Georges Renaud, or the strongest women player in the country during the '20s and early '30s, Paulette Schwartzmann.
