I never knew somebody could care about me this much.
I know myself, and it happens very rarely that I can’t find words to describe how I feel. I usually write long posts about stuff, but it’s very different this time.

Basic things we should practice as grown-ups:
1. Sharing our food with others. We need to chill and share more. Don’t worry, you’re not going to lose kilograms because you shared half a burger or a quarter of a tortilla wrap. We need to stop looking at food as a big deal now; we’re not kids anymore.
2. We need to start owning up to our shortcomings and mistakes. Flaws are typical of human beings; everybody has them. Don’t be ashamed of admitting something you did was wrong and correcting it. Again, we’re adults now. Nobody is going to scold you for making a mistake anymore. In most cases, you’re the only one to be affected by the consequences of your actions. At least, in the long run.
3. There is absolutely no need to tolerate everything. When you don’t like something or how somebody is talking, you can actually tell them to change their tone, rephrase what they’re saying or keep their BS(nonsense) to them.
Remember. Everything you’re being exposed to - everything you hear, see, read, say, think - is going to affect you in ways that you can’t see. Choose what you want to be exposed to.

I feel like I don’t have a life
I’m starting to realize what sacrifices really mean. When I heard the word “sacrifice” before, I had never imagined it would be what I’m living through right now.
The thing is I’ve been working 10-11 hours a day for some time now, and I’ll tell you this; it’s cooking me. I’m looking at nearly as “something I have to get done”. I love food, and I don’t like the fact that I can’t simply enjoy my meal. It is also another job for me to get done and try to digest as soon as possible before I go to sleep because I have another class waiting for me next morning. Absolutely no chance to recover. And the pain of pretending to look like okay adds to it. I mean I felt I was living more when I didn’t have much to do, but I thought I wasn’t doing enough and I needed to put more work in. But now, I can see that we need to appreciate life as it is and be thankful for every moment.
However, I’m trying to look at it from a positive perspective because God is the best of planners.
The sacrifices I’m making of my time, mental tranquility and my overall peace are now enabling me to see life and people from a completely different standpoint.

It’s been almost 6 months since I last did pushups seriously. I had to temporarily stop doing sports for some time according to the doctor’s prescription.
Honestly, I feel very different today to what I had experienced during these 6 months. I have been very physically inactive for this period of my life, which really made me hate everything as a person who loves physical activity. However, it made me realize how much I love doing sports and how well it balances my mental function. I can remember the times when I was so exhausted after my training sessions that it made me forget about the problems that had seemed big.
On another note, punching a bag is so refreshing and humbling at the same time. It feels good to punch something so hard and realize you can barely move it an inch.
The video and photos attached are from when I first overcame my fear and took up boxing. Whenever I look at these photos, the word that comes to my mind is fatigue.
You really should feel it.
