The political mafia behind the PSNI begin each day with the thought of what can we do to engender further hate toward the organisation, the latest being threatening to send their paramilitary colleagues into communities where they’re inherently distrusted & disliked with the express intention of removing the cherished, historical symbolism cherished by residents be they republican or loyalist.

Last year, as we reported, armed & masked PSNI paramilitaries removed a mural in Newtownards commemorating the Battle of the Somme, there were no complaints nor paramilitary connotations but it was a test to gage the community response.

This year is going to present a further challenge both to the paramilitary police & the communities they target, certainly they’ll be meeting real resistance from their intended victims.
