The Internet Archive , home of The "Wayback Machine" has an "eBook and Texts Section" that has over 40 million texts, making it another good alternative to Amazon Books.

As suggest by Vinney on NOSTR, adding this as an OPDS (Open Public Distribution Source) source in your favorite e-reader is nice. The Librera App, available through F-Driod, comes with Project Gutneberg and Internet Archive already added as an OPDS.

Their "eBook and Texts" area offers:
- Over 20 million freely downloadable books
- 2.3 million eBooks that can be borrowed
- Digitizing Services if you want a book digitized
