In better news, I found a bug in the WebSocket implementation of OpenClaw's OpenAI API implementation that causes these "yes I will do x" for GPT 5.4 - and then the model just stops.
We didn't send the new "phase" parameter. We'll do in the release coming later today. https://developers.openai.com/api/docs/guides/latest-model/#new-phase-parameter
Also found a bug in how @Kimi_Moonshot Coding toolcalls are handled, which will stop degraded performance.

There are a lot of of us building very quickly and making everything as easy as possible and most of all secure. Clawbot is literally just a rip off of our code if you’re having trouble with things just hit me up and I’ll do what I can to help me.
