An Afaan-Oromo speaking Ethiopianist is still an Ethiopianist—just like OPDO, ODP, OPP, ODF, or the more conspicuous Ethio-Amhara political parties. And their political vision and strategy has been tested numerous times over and have been found wanting.

Their vision is only the same old vision seen, this time by Afaan-Oromo speaking bodies, from the same (imperial) vantage point. And their strategy—having been similarly tried, failed, exhausted, and now found wanting—is completely devoid of solutions for the protracted problems of Ethiopia.
