ITALY. The images of yesterday's flooding in Emilia Romagna, from Bologna to Ravenna, are truly terrible. Rivers and streams overflowed (with one mayor blaming porcupines), landslides, collapsed houses. Trains stopped for hours, schools closed and roads destroyed. Evacuations by helicopters and rubber boats, two deaths and hundreds displaced. In the end, in the total neglect and lack of action for decades by politicians who are only concerned with following the propaganda of changeh climaticoh in words and proclamations, it is always the Citizens who pay the price. For what it's worth, I sincerely stand by you.
