Hmm, wait a minute... Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 prohibits the Army from being involved in domestic law enforcement. Are they calling this a training exercise gone wrong because they got caught in an illegal operation? And why train for an op you aren't legally allowed to engage in anyway? Snatch & grab at a US Hotel where citizens are actively residing? How does a building like that fit any kind of profile for a training exercise where the Army might be sent, and why would it be joint with the FBI? 👀

We all know the Army has some dirty units, just like the FBI does.
Hey Congress, You might wanna ask the people "training" for an illegal operation WTF they were really doing.

FBI can only operate in onshore law enforcement
Army can only operate OFFshore.
Why are they arresting people in US hotels together since there's NO JURISDICTION in which they are actually allowed to operate together?

A more normal scenario would be Army + CIA doing urban warfare training in vacant buildings onshore, or other more interesting buildings offshore.

There's no circumstance where active Army personnel can put their hands on US citizens on US soil, so how would such a training op get approved to operate in the SAME HOTEL where regular guests were actively staying?

"Oops we went to the wrong hotel room and thought the guy/gal was roleplaying when they resisted?"

Sounds pretty f'in dumb. Somebody is covering tracks.
