What timeline are we on now?

This would fix everything:

1. Paper ballots.
2. One day of voting in person.
3. Scan to data and record on an immutable blockchain record.
4. Voter has a code they can use to look their ballot up at any time and SEE HOW IT WAS COUNTED.
5. Open source code tallies the votes directly from the public blockchain records.

Fraud impossible.
Audits are seamless because everything is transparent.
No black box private code. No backdoors that can change vote records database. No company with any private/hidden code allowed to develop/operate/use/sell any vote systems in the U.S.

Sometimes I think pretty hard about setting up crowdfunding and trying to get a couple million patriots to pitch in $5 each. The People would then own the first open source election systems company, and most of the counties in America could be straight up shamed into dropping their old deep state black box systems, and adopting the new one.

I keep waiting for somebody to do this so I don't have to.

(It might have to be a non-profit with a charter that makes it impossible for any venture capital firm to buy it.)

I get why many insist our voting systems should be entirely paper ballot based.

But what you do think happens after those ballots are cast and somebody somewhere in a room counts them? They fill out little batch sheets showing how many were counted and what the totals were. Then those get brought together in some fashion (it varies) and somebody writes up more tally sheets adding up the batches. Then somebody is taking that and passing the numbers forward to Secretary of State office and "certifying" that the numbers they gave are accurate.

There are several steps in there where slight of hand can happen AFTER the paper ballots are counted.

TELL ME your idea for how to bullet proof that counting, aggregating, and reporting.
TELL ME how you can prevent a dirty deep state run county like Maricopa from playing games in a dark room with the totals?

My idea is to make a bullet proof write-only (data records can be created but not modified) open source (means anybody can see it in it's entirety) tally system that simply shows the total votes in real time... removing human element from the counting. I don't trust the "blue" counties in red states to follow any process.

How do you force Maricopa AZ, or Houston TX, or Seattle WA, or Portland OR, of Los Angeles CA to honestly tally paper ballots without trying to skew anything?

I think most of y'all are too honest, and don't naturally think like a criminal.
