When I imagine how big Trump can dream… I always see him swinging for the fences… and that’s a majority in Congress big enough to pass Constitutional Amendments… and some crazy shit would still have to go down before that could ever happen. I'm sure my understanding on this is flawed... but I have found the following when digging on the 14th Amendment.

1) Congress can pass a resolution declaring that somebody has "participated in an insurrection" under the 14th Amendment, and it only requires a simple majority vote in both House & Senate.

2) "How disqualification works under the 14th Amendment has never been clear". It has never been applied to a President before. The Supreme Court may end up deciding it can't be applied to POTUS?

3) While such a resolution could be challenged and overturned in court, the 14th Amendment does not define a legal standard for what counts as insurrection... instead it grants CONGRESS the power to disqualify somebody. Some legal opinion says this gives Congress discretion in deciding it means whatever they say it means. Others (myself included) think the charge must be clear enough to stand up in court... but which court?

To say it's impossible for Congress to do this to Trump is to say you TRUST THE COURTS. The same ones that decided they didn't give a shit about 2020.

Identity politics sucks, but considering that's how the MSM operates... somebody was smart to choose a gay Democrat (married to a man) IRS whistleblower to be the one to testify about their investigation into Biden financial crimes being blocked.

Also, the whistleblower is "expected to ask Congress and the Biden Administration to 'consider a special counsel' for the Hunter Biden investigation and 'all the related cases and spin-off investigations that have come forward from this investigation.'"

Personally... I only support public disclosure by Congress via compulsory C-Span coverage. I do not support any more multi-year investigations, especially ones conducted under a Biden-Garland DOJ. As a citizen I'm not remotely satisfied with ANY investigation that has taken place (including Durham's results). The result of these investigations has been 1) to vacuum/contain all the evidence long enough for 2) enough time to pass that the public loses interest.

My view is the ONLY hope to turn this shit around is overwhelming PUBLIC knowledge of all the details, so the PUBLIC will be sufficiently motivated to take the power away from DC. Biden's puppet masters don't really care if the Biden's end up facing a few charges after years of delay. ALL they care about is if their big game is disrupted.
