A little update from my side here on Telegram. I’ve not been actively trading for about 6 weeks now, many other things in work and personal life got in the way and I’ve learned one of my most important rules in the last 7 years of trading is to not trade when you don’t feel like trading.

Yes you need to motivate yourself to make it a daily habit and you need consistency. But if you don’t feel your gut feeling is with you and your mind is in 10 different places I can’t advice you to force any trading.

That being said I’m also happy to say I just opened 2 small positions (buys on nzdjpy and audjpy) to get back to it. Will explore some market options in the next 3 days till the end of the month and looking forward to trade about 3 weeks of December.

Hello everyone, it’s been a while since the last update. More news coming towards the end of the year.

Small news: the info@baskooijman.eu email is also fixed. Our server in Amsterdam ran out of storage so the site and email was out for 3 weeks. Very annoying period for everyone but it’s solved so feel free to ask anything infinity or book orders related by mail 👍

Hello everyone, it’s been a long time I’ve shared an update in this group and during the reflection time I had this week I felt it’s a good time to share an update.

First to look back a bit, in september 2021 is started streaming on tradingview. Many sessions had a great response and were watched by hundreds of people. Yet this enthusiasm dialed down over time as many people expected more signals of trades than actually learning the strategy on how to trade themselves.

Christmas 2021 I decided to host 100 coaching calls in 2022 and I successfully completed them all in October 2022 with having done many, many money making sessions with the people who booked those sessions. Yet enriching this many people didn’t lead to people trading more alone, it lead to a run on sessions to reuse money to book another session to make money. Again more done-for-you than actually learning. I need to mention the exception of some people who prepared for the session(s) and we had a great learning experience.

Feedback I received during many coaching calls was that TIME was still the main issue for most people trading a proper income. This made me develop the Infinity Timeless Strategy on Renko charts. A strategy that is reactive to alerts where you have to open or close a trade. Sometimes a few alerts per day, sometimes nothing for days. The idea was good, yet the execution of finetuning took more than 6 months longer to test with a group of 10 people. The testing completed July of this year (2023). This strategy is currently not commercially available (yet).

At the same time in September 2022 took the role of CEO at DHF Captial, a securitization firm in Luxemburg hosting various hedgefunds. Before this time I only traded professionally for the funds but my Asset Manager role changed a lot with additional day-to-day tasks taking me away from the trading desk. In 2022 the coaching calls kept me glued to the charts for 3-4 hours every morning but since the beginning of this year I’m not trading daily.

I personally face the same issue as many of you: a lack of TIME to trade. Infinity timeless didn’t solve my issue as it’s a great strategy that still needs manual activities to open and close orders. Automation being the only next step. I’ve successfully developed and ran many strategies and met many people who professionally run trading strategies. Yet many of those strategies require a larger funded account.

Now it’s almost 2024, and I’m not sharing this update for no reason. I’m happy with my process this year but I missed the community feeling of bringing more people to the top 5% of successful traders. This is a passion of mine that I want to engage in once more in 2024.

Next to that I invite you to start a personal conversation to share with me your trading goals or investment goals of 2024 and where you need support. I may not be able to offer the support myself but can introduce you to someone from my network where you will be in good hands.

Lastly the whole AI and automatic trading has taken the world by storm in 2023 and I’m currently talking with some (educator) trading friends who have developed tools that work for smaller accounts as my corporate automation software doesn’t support accounts smaller than 10.000 or some even 50.000 usd. When I’ve personally tested those tools I’m going to share them in this chat and I hope you guys find them useful.
