Few days ago Czech politician called Tomasz Zdechovsky posted on X a picture of killed Czech mercenary saying his name is Tom. He quickly deleted but not quickly enough 🙂.
Tom was part of Azov and was in Avdeevka.
He was killed by Russian army on February 12 2024.
So who is Tom?
His name is Tomas Zavázal, callsign Sparta, from Vysočany, Hlavní Město Praha, Czech Republic, born 8 December 1992.

Paul is a Balkan War veteran who thought war in Ukraine is similar.
He came to Ukraine in Spring 2022 and quickly found out the hard truth.

⚡️ Сегодня в Кремле Министр обороны Российской Федерации генерал армии С.К. Шойгу доложил Верховному Главнокомандующему Вооруженными Силами Российской Федерации о полном взятии под контроль группировкой войск «Центр» под командованием генерал-полковника Андрея Мордвичева города Авдеевка Донецкой Народной Республики, который представлял собой мощный оборонительный узел вооруженных сил Украины.
▫️ В результате от украинских националистов освобождена территория площадью 31,75 кв. км. Потери противника в боях за Авдеевку в течение истекших суток составили более 1500 военнослужащих.
▫️ Под непрерывным огневым воздействием российских войск только отдельным разрозненным формированиям украинских боевиков удалось спешно покинуть Авдеевку, бросив при этом вооружение и военную технику.
▫️ В настоящее время проводятся мероприятия по окончательной зачистке города от боевиков, блокированию украинских подразделений, оставивших город и засевших на Авдеевском коксохимическом комбинате.
▫️ Освобождение Авдеевки позволило отодвинуть линию фронта от Донецка, тем самым существенно обезопасить его от террористических ударов преступного киевского режима.
▫️ Информация о продвижении наших войск не предавалась огласке до полного разгрома противника и взятия под контроль города.
▫️ Войска группировки войск «Центр» продолжают наступательные действия по дальнейшему освобождению Донецкой Народной Республики от украинских националистов.
