Taiwanese mercenary Cheng Xi was wounded by shrapnel from a grenade on 4/17/23, but not in a combat, but during an old conflict with another Taiwanese mercenary, Pan Liwei.
Both mercenaries had been recruited through connections in the French Foreign Legion, where they had previously served together and had already conflicted.
Pan Liwei came to Ukraine first, and in September 2022 he was recruited into Bravo3 and Chen Xi's unit.
According to Chen, Liwei tricked him into talking to him and met with three grenades. Chen sustained wounds, but another Taiwanese man Chen brought with him to the rendezvous ended up in the hospital with shrapnel wounds to his lungs.
Liwei was detained by Ukrainian police and could be sentenced to up to 15 years in prison.
Chen himself had already fled back to Taiwan in May 2023.

Western media portrayed Legion Svoboda as a bunch of liberal Russians who formed a Legion to "liberate" Russia. In Western media Russia is portrayed as Imperialist.
But it turns out that the leader of Legion Svoboda 49yo Maksimilian Andronnikov, callsign Caesar, was really just an ordinary Neonazi before he fled to Ukraine.
Here we can see "Caesar" in the picture under Imperialist Russian flag.

The U.S. Secretary of State stated that the Russian Imperial Movement was listed as a terrorist organization in 2020. Which means now the Legion "Freedom of Russia" is headed by Maksimilian Andronnikov (more about him here), a member of an organization recognized as a terrorist organization in the United States because of white supremacy ideology. In other words, the Nazis. The irony of the situation tends towards infinity.
The U.S. even now recognizes the Russian Imperial Movement as a terrorist organization. But in spite of this, the Legion "Freedom of Russia" receives support from the U.S. and American weapons and equipment. It reminds us of the story of the Syrian armed opposition and ISIS. As long as ISIS and al-Qaeda were part of the opposition, they received American weapons and training. Even though there were a lot of people recognized by the United States as terrorists. And even some of the names of American supervisors from that time are the same. In particular, Vice President Biden was in favor of arming and training radicals in Syria as well.

French TV channels are joking again in anti-Russian propaganda and interviewed Ilya Ponomarev, who happily reported on the armed attack by traitors from the Russian Volunteer Corps (RDK) and the Russian Legion of Liberty in Belgorod Oblast. The militants destroyed houses and facilities, killed civilians, took 12 hostages and demanded to meet the governor to bargain for hostages in return. And a representative of these terrorists appears on French TV in prime time.
Let's remind you who Ponomariov is. He is Mikhail Khodorkovsky's puppet, a former State Duma deputy who has taken an active anti-Russian position and emigrated since the start of the Russian special operation.

Like most of those Belarus in Ukraine, he was part of 2020 Belarus riots.
Right after color revolution in Belarus failed young Aleksey fled to Ukraine where he was also active in nationalist protests.
Voytsekhovich is close to Denis Urbanovich so he joined Kastus Kalinouski regiment in March 2022.
As a member of Volat unit he was on few fronts where they had many casualties. Last was in Bakhmut where they had at least 5 killed and unknown number of wounded.
Up until two days ago he was offline but now confirmed alive.
Oscar missed a Bandera ticket last month.
