After-all, we all know Columbia is the land of slums and poverty, however there are many places in the world, which if he can travel to Ukraine, he could have easily have went there instead and worked hard, like everyone else to earn a living.
He is fighting alongside or was fighting alongside the Columbian Bandit squad (Adilson De Andrade Ganzert) which includes some British clowns, like James Durose, I doubt they can even speak English, little buck tooth boy playing soldier also, oh and also some French frogs like Guillaume Andreoni.
Currently, he is still alive and active, unsure if he's still in Ukraine, but more than likely fled like Adilson, who left to sell his uniform.

This one, like the others, all serve in their home countries, but lack the funds to support their family or drug addictions.
This one seems to be involved in steroid abuse, I believe he should seek help, as he is now home.
He fled Ukraine, more than likely after Commander Kuzmin got minced.
He does vow to return, but I presume he will need the funds again. So it might be a while.
