He wanted to sign a contract with the Advanced Company, part of the Revanche group. However, he changed his mind and later wanted to leave Ukraine, but he didn't have time; he was brutally beaten to death by his own countrymen.
Brazilian Bruno Gabriel Leal Silva (24), born on February 16, 2002, in SertΓ’nia, Pernambuco, died on the night of December 28, 2025, after a brutal beating. He was punished for being drunk and not returning to base on time. He was taken to a space known as a βcontainerβ and beaten for about 40 minutes. His colleagues heard what was happening but were unable to intervene.
At the time of his death, Bruno had not signed the contract yet and was planning to leave Ukraine.
According to anonymous sources (they are quite afraid of being next, although we know who they are) in the Advanced Company under the command of Leanderson Paulino, torture is systematically used as a method of punishment. Witnesses reported a broader pattern of abuse, mentioning practices such as collective beatings, burns, electric shocks, drowning, suffocation with plastic bags, and sexual assault with wooden objects.

Ethan Custoza from Oshawa, Ontario, Canada
In May 2025, Custoza left Oshawa for Poland and made his way to the Ukrainian border. There, he was met by military personnel who took him to training.
After eight weeks of training, Custoza was issued his regiment card on July 2025 and signed up with the assault team of Charlie Company, 2nd International Legion.
Three months after joining the fighting, Custoza was seriously injured during an assault operation in the Kharkov region on the evening of early October 2025.
A mortar shell exploded near him on the left side. His entire left side received multiple shrapnel wounds. The most serious injuries were an open fracture of the right tibia with massive bleeding and pneumothorax of the left lung.
Custoza underwent a series of surgeries, and the doctors did everything they could to save his leg. However, they had no choice but to amputate four centimeters of bone because it was badly infected.
A medical team from Great Britain and Ukraine proposed two options: reconstructive microsurgery to take fat, skin, muscle, and bone from his body to help save the leg or amputation below the knee. He chose the first option.
He has a long road ahead with many more surgeries, as well as a year of rehabilitation and recovery, before he can return home, but it is quite likely that he will undergo a mysterious amputation soon.
