When he got out of prison, he tried to restart his life by opening his own earthmoving construction company with someone he considered to be one of his good friends. He invested all his life savings in this business because he believed in it... And then his partner ripped him off right after the start of his first big job, but in fact he discovered Joshua was a drug addict and was stealing money from the company to support his addiction.
Unemployed and living on the dole, he thought he could change his life by risking his life for a few dollars.
In Ukraine, he went through the same training as everyone else. That meant guarding abandoned houses, shitposting online and doing selfies.
He is now part of the UAV team called Lucky Strike of the 3rd International Legion. Probably another one of those scammer units we see popping up every week.

Координаты вражеской техники операторам барражирующих боеприпасов семейства «Ланцет» поступают в режиме реального времени с разведывательных БАС ZALA Z-16. Благодаря высокой маневренности, качественному видеосигналу, применению современных алгоритмов управления и навигации «Ланцеты» способны атаковать бронированную технику с неожиданной стороны, нанося удары по слабозащищёнными зонам, что часто приводит к детонации боекомплекта.

He went there for the first time in April 2023 and then returned home, but returned to Ukraine lately for the second time.
