⚡️ In the morning of 4 June 2023, the enemy launched a large-scale offensive at five sections of the front in Southern Donetsk direction by introducing into combat 23rd and 31st mechanised brigades from the strategic reserves of the AFU, supported by other military units and divisions.

◽️ A total of six mechanised and two tank battalions of the enemy were involved.

◽️ The enemy's goal was to break through Russia's defences in what it considered to be the most vulnerable area of the front.

◽️ The enemy was unsuccessful in achieving its goals.

◽️ As a result of skilful and competent actions of the Vostok Group of Forces, the losses of the AFU amounted to more than 250 troops, 16 tanks, three infantry fighting vehicles, 21 armoured fighting vehicles.

◽️ Commander of the combined group of forces - Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation General of the Army V.V. Gerasimov was at one of the forward command and control posts in this direction during this period.

⚡️During 5 June, the enemy continued the offensive concentrating the main efforts on Vremevka outpost in South Donetsk direction.

◽️Having suffered heavy losses the day before, the Kiev regime reorganised the remnants of the 23rd and 31st mechanised brigades into separate combined units, which continued the offensive operations close to Novodarovka and Levadnoye. In addition, a new brigade was brought into the action in this area.

◽️At the same time, the enemy launched an offensive in the direction of Oktyabrsky state farm and Novodonetskoye by the 37th Marine Infantry Brigade with the reinforcements based on the units of the AFU 68th Mountain Jaeger Brigade.

💥The enemy was attacked with a comprehensive fire attack by Army, Ground-Attack and Operational-Tactical aviation, Missile Troops and Artillery, as well as heavy flamethrower systems.

💥As a result of active and self-sacrificing actions of the Vostok Group of Forces, which displayed courage and heroism, the enemy has been stopped, and the set tasks haven’t been achieved. The AFU formations and military units suffered significant losses.

◽️Total AFU losses in South Donetsk direction were over 1,500 Ukrainian servicemen, 28 tanks, including FRG-manufactured 8 Leopard tanks, three French-manufactured AMX-10 wheeled tanks, and 109 armoured fighting vehicles.

⚡️ Russian Defence Minister checks combat duty at a new site of the Space Monitoring System.

⚠️ Last night, the Russian Armed Forces carried out long-range sea- and air-launched precision-guided group strikes on clusters of Ukrainian reserves and foreign mercenaries, as well as foreign-made ammunition, weaponry, and military hardware depots. All the assigned targets have been engaged. The goal of the strike has been achieved.

◽️ In Vremevka salient close to Makarovka (Donetsk People's Republic), the selfless and competent actions of the defending units, air strikes and artillery fire of the Vostok Group of Forces repelled attacks of two AFU motorised infantry companies, supported by four tanks and 11 armoured fighting vehicles.
