Alpha Scope #1 | Why I Chose TON to Start This Alpha Cycle
This is the first article I’m publishing on Alpha Scope, and also the starting point of my journey to find Alpha on TON.
Before getting into TON, I had explored many chains and participated in various narratives.
But now I’m increasingly convinced:
🔥 TON may be one of the few ecosystems in this cycle where ordinary users can still capture real opportunities.
Many people ask:
Why TON? Why not other chains?
The answer lies in its development path.
1️⃣ TON Is More Than Just a Blockchain
What makes TON special isn’t just its technology or token, but the super entry point behind it:
📲 Telegram
TON is inherently tied to Telegram. It was originally called Telegram Open Network, with its native token named Gram.
2️⃣ 2018 | A $1.7 Billion Bet
In 2018, Telegram raised around $1.7 billion through two private funding rounds, setting a record in the industry.
Investors included:
• Sequoia Capital
• Benchmark
• Kleiner Perkins
• Roman Abramovich
The reason was simple:
👥 Telegram already had hundreds of millions of users
If Gram could tap into this user base, it wouldn’t just target the crypto niche—it would reach a global market.
Even if only a fraction of users adopted wallets, payments, or games:
🚀 TON could become the super entry point for Web3
3️⃣ 2019–2020 | Halted by the SEC
In October 2019, the SEC sued Telegram to block the issuance of Gram:
• Oct 2019: Emergency action
• Mar 2020: Court ruling against Telegram
• Jun 2020: Settlement, refunds, and fines
A wave of adoption that could have arrived early was abruptly stopped.
But TON didn’t disappear.
💡 It simply paused.
4️⃣ 2021 | The Community Takes Over
After Telegram stepped away, the community took over TON and continued development.
The key points:
⚖️ Legal separation from Telegram
🧠 Preservation of the technology and vision
In simple terms:
TON didn’t die—it was waiting for the right moment.
5️⃣ 2022–2024 | The Rise of Mini Apps
The real turning point came with:
📱 Telegram Mini Apps
Telegram evolved from a messaging tool into a platform:
• Games
• Tasks
• Payments
• Social distribution
• App discovery
Users don’t need to download anything or understand wallets:
👉 Just open and use
This solves Web3’s biggest challenge:
🔑 User onboarding
Many chains talk about mass adoption, but TON puts the entry point directly in users’ hands.
6️⃣ 2026 | Telegram Returns
By 2026, the situation shifted again.
Pavel Durov stated:
📢 Telegram will become the main driver of TON
🧩 And the largest validator
This means:
👉 Telegram is no longer just supporting—it’s taking the lead again
TON’s focus is also shifting toward:
• Technical upgrades
• Infrastructure
• Deep integration
To me, this is a clear signal:
🚀 The Telegram + TON cycle is restarting
7️⃣ The Real Entry Point: Mini Apps
If:
TON = the underlying network
Telegram = the traffic gateway
Then:
🎯 Mini Apps = the user entry point
Users won’t start by studying technology—they start by experiencing:
🎮 Apps that are playable, profitable, and shareable
That’s exactly why I chose to begin here.
8️⃣ What Will Alpha Scope Do Next?
I’ll continue searching for Alpha within Telegram, focusing on Mini Apps:
• Projects worth watching
• Opportunities worth participating in
• Early-stage plays
• Apps that could become key entry points

The story of TON didn’t start today.
But for most people:
⏳ The real window to participate has just opened
And my Alpha journey begins here.
Stay tuned.

Alpha Scope #2 | Featured Project: Questor
📌 Project Background
Questor is a Telegram-based app distribution platform launched on May 29, aiming to turn user attention into real rewards.
It already has a solid foundation, including a website, whitepaper, Medium, Twitter, and an active Telegram community with engaged admins.
Within one month, Questor reached over 26,000 bot users and 5,000 community members—an impressive result for a new project.
Overall, its early setup and growth suggest the team likely has prior Web3 experience.

🎮 Platform Mechanics
Questor is still in a very early stage.
The platform’s core asset, AP, has not yet released its tokenomics, and Questor currently has no platform revenue. This is very typical of early-stage Web3 projects during their cold start phase.
Precisely because of this, acquiring early-stage assets at this point often presents the most valuable opportunity.
AP Pool is one of the core features of the Questor platform.
The entry requirement for participating in the AP Pool is 2 Gram. While the amount is not high, it is sufficient to filter out most bot or studio accounts.
There is still a transition phase between the Telegram ecosystem and Web3. For users familiar with Web3, a 2 Gram entry threshold is actually quite low.
💰 How to Earn AP
Currently, there are two main ways to earn AP:
✅ Complete Daily Tasks
Users only need to complete 3 daily tasks and open the experience chest to earn AP and Gram rewards while leveling up on the platform.
🎉 Participate in Community Activities
Users can join Questor’s community events. Players with the highest experience chest scores of the day, as well as lottery winners, have the chance to receive AP rewards.
🔥 Participate in AP Pool
The AP Pool is highly worth participating in.
It is a core feature of the Questor platform and a key mechanism for converting user attention into real value.
Based on Web3 experience, such features are likely to involve swaps or earning yields through staking AP.
During a bear market, acquiring early-stage assets through such mechanisms offers a very high return on investment.
Moreover, the entry ticket for the AP Pool is only 2 Gram.
Questor has strict risk control measures against bot or studio players, which is very friendly for early genuine users.
Therefore, my suggestion is: if you participate in Questor, aside from inviting new users required for daily tasks, avoid inviting additional users unnecessarily.
