Fresh Explosives Seized from Faridabad's Sector 56

A day after a deadly blast near Delhi’s Red Fort and the recovery of a massive cache of explosives, police on Tuesday seized three bags of a powdery substance suspected to be used in making firecrackers from a rented house in Sector 56 of Faridabad. The latest find adds to the string of alarming discoveries in the Delhi-NCR region, deepening suspicions of a larger network involved in stockpiling explosives near the national capital.

The investigation into the Red Fort blast has been handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA), with security agencies now focusing on uncovering the broader terror network believed to be involved.

✍Sources indicate that the investigation has found Maulvi Irfan, a former paramedical staffer at GMC Srinagar and ex-Imam, to be a central figure in radicalising medical students. He and two associates are believed to have ideological links to Jaish e Mohammed and are suspected to be the core members of the Faridabad and Delhi module.

Faridabad Police Crime Branch is interrogating three additional doctors from Al Falah University in connection with the Delhi blast and the subsequent arrests.

New CCTV video has emerged showing three men getting a pollution check of the white Hyundai i20 car that exploded near Delhi's Red Fort on 29th October at a Petrol Pump at Okhla.

According to CCTV footage On October 29 at 4:20 pm The car, with the number plate HR 26CE7674, can be seen parked next to the Pollution Under Control (PUC) booth.
