⭐Asim Munir, convened an emergency high-level meeting following a series of coordinated and successful attacks by Afghan Taliban fighters on Pakistani military posts along the Durand Line.

1. Corps Commander Peshawar Lieutenant General Omer Ahmed Bokhari

2. Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Rahat Naseem Ahmed Khan

3. Chief of General Staff (CGS) Lieutenant General Muhammad Avais

⭐ Asim Munir sharply rebuked his top commanders for what he described as a major “intelligence failure" and a “lack of strategic depth" on Pakistan’s western frontier.

⭐He demanded detailed answers from each participant, questioning why advance intelligence of such a massive assault was missing and why there was no immediate military backup prepared for a swift counter-offensive.

⭐ Asim Munir grilled the generals on their contingency planning and the absence of an effective operational strategy to repel the surprise Taliban offensive.

⭐According to sources within the Taliban group, the recent attack on Pakistani border posts was a coordinated operation carried out by the Taliban. This attack took place after Pakistani fighter jets flew over Kabul and Pakistan conducted airstrikes within Afghan territory.

⭐According to the sources, Mullah Yaqub, the Taliban’s Minister of Defense, reacted to this action by saying: “Enough is enough.” He then issued orders to send dozens of DShK machine guns that night, along with sniper rifles and Taliban-made suicide drones, to target Pakistani positions.

⭐According to the sources, this sudden and unexpected attack inflicted heavy casualties on Pakistani forces. After the attack, Taliban forces withdrew from the targeted post; a post that was later subjected to retaliatory strikes by Pakistan.

⭐The sources say that although Pakistan’s bombardment was intense, most Taliban forces had withdrawn from their bases beforehand, and their casualties were minimal.

- Baloch fighters continue to patrol Zehri city, reportedly maintaining control since August 11.

- The Pakistani army’s claim of regaining control remains unverified, no army footage has surfaced, while multiple videos from Baloch fighters continue to emerge.

– Militants launched a coordinated assault on Qila Khadi Fort in North Waziristan; a VBIED detonated at the outer perimeter, followed by heavy exchange of fire with security forces.
– Initial reports suggest 12 attackers attempted to breach the fort; area remains under cordon.
– Multiple casualties reported (unconfirmed).

UPDATE: 6 attackers who carried out a deadly attack on the Khaddi fort of the Pakistani security forces in Mir Ali, North Waziristan district have been killed. 7 Pakistani security personnel have lost their lives and 13 are injured.
