With KP Oli’s resignation, the interim leadership debate has narrowed to a few key names:
1. Sushila Karki – Ex-Chief Justice, anti-corruption icon, widely backed by protesters (and endorsed by Kathmandu Mayor Balendra Shah). Constitution (2015) bars retired judges from executive roles. Protest groups want temporary/emergency amendments to allow her, while insisting they don’t seek wholesale constitutional change.
2. Kulman Ghising – Former energy chief who ended Nepal’s power crisis. Viewed as a competent technocrat and a legally safer option. Supported by a major Gen Z protest faction.
3. Balendra Shah (Balen) – Popular Mayor of Kathmandu, initially floated as a consensus choice. He declined but publicly endorsed Karki.
4. Harka Sampang – Twice-elected Mayor of Dharan, known for grassroots activism. Proposed by a minority group but dismissed as “not competent enough.”
Nepal’s next step hinges on whether factions unite behind Karki (popular but constitutionally tricky), Ghising (technocrat with fewer legal hurdles), or a new consensus figure who can bridge divides.

*RECOVERY OF UNKNOWN DRONE BY PP GARKHAL*
*On 13/09/2025, at morning of PP Garkhal Kathua was on the routing patrolling in the village Fattu Kotli. While patrolling they saw a drone hanged in the treess. After that the said drone was brought to the Police Post Garkhal. On checking it was found that a thermal Paylod was attached under the drone. At ptesent captured drone is at PP Garkhal.*

On 12 September 2025, Kashmir Fight, a propaganda outlet aligned with LeT proxies TRF and PAFF, released graphics claiming they now possess armed drone capabilities. Our team’s verification revealed that the drone images were not genuine but lifted from the official account of Ukraine’s Territorial Defense Forces.
This is not an isolated incident. TRF/PAFF have repeatedly attempted to project drone capabilities in their propaganda to instill fear and exaggerate their technological reach. While Pakistan has historically used drones to drop arms, ammunition, narcotics, and cash across the border, it is highly unlikely that these terror outfits currently possess armed drones. However, in the long term, the risk of such groups acquiring armed drones, possibly with external support, remains credible.

around this data heavy trt movements in vicinity of this pass was tracked - especially Thalela, Bal Padhri and areas in and around HP , Doda administration restricted telecommunication services in the area.
during this period movement spotted in and around Gandoh area of doda - where last year 1 trt grp was liquidated by 4RR
3 trt were engaged by a Joint Patrol of SoG and 17RR
Movement was noticed , Search ops were launched
Contact was established with trts.
Contact was established with 3 trt who escaped into a cave , 11RR and SoG lobbed heavy RL and Explosives into the cave but the trt escaped through another exit.
Search ops launched after 3-4 trts seen , no contact established
According to conservative estimates minimum
Point of serious concern - in 2024 trt used the exact same route
Loopholes at Policy level decisions should be thoroughly reviewed by the political executive.Major Organisational level reviews also required.
