📍SITREP: PoJK Situation

⭐️Reports are circulating that Pakistan is once again considering granting Gilgit-Baltistan the status of its fifth province. A similar move was pursued during the tenure of Imran Khan and General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

⭐️For the first time in recent years, Hurriyat has reportedly begun organizing programs in Gilgit, as unrest continues across PoJK amid sustained protests led by the JAAC. The region remains politically volatile, with public discontent over governance and economic issues under Pakistan military rule.

⭐️On other hand Pakistan sending a parliamentary delegation to the UK and Europe, apparently seeking to refocus international attention on the Jammu & Kashmir issue rather than the ongoing instability and protests in PoJK.

Investigations point to online radicalisation, sleeper cell creation, reconnaissance of targets, and networks linked to Pakistan-based handlers.

➡️While the IMF's assistance is meant for economic stabilisation and there is no public evidence that the funds support terrorism, the contrast is stark: as financial assistance flows into Pakistan, India continues to confront cross-border terror networks.

➡️The Overseas Friends of the Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) have announced a protest against the Pakistan military on 24th July 2026 at 2:00 PM outside the United Nations (UN) Headquarters, New York, USA.

➡️The protest is expected to bring together members of the Jammu Kashmir diaspora and supporters to express solidarity with the JAAC movement and raise international awareness of the ongoing developments in Pakistan-occupied Jammu Kashmir (PoJK).

❗Residents of Neelum Valley's Gurez have blocked the entry of Pakistan Peoples Party workers and associates of government minister Mian Waheed.

🔍 Analysis | ISI's Emerging Western Front Strategy: Gujarat & Rajasthan:-

🧑‍🦯‍➡The recent Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) action in Gujarat and multiple espionage cases in Rajasthan indicate an evolving hybrid warfare strategy by Pakistan-backed networks. Rather than focusing exclusively on Jammu & Kashmir, the emphasis appears to be shifting towards India's western border states also.

⚓ Gujarat is emerging as a target for terror modules due to its strategic ports, industrial hubs and critical economic infrastructure while Rajasthan is witnessing increased espionage activity aimed at gathering intelligence on military and economic assets.

🎯 The broader objective appears to be to combine terrorism, espionage, propaganda 📢, and economic disruption to stretch India's security apparatus, create internal instability, and potentially divert attention from Line of Control (LoC).

📍Pakistan's parliamentary delegation, led by Rana Muhammad Qasim Noon, Chairman of the Kashmir Committee, is expected to raise the issue of the Indus Waters Treaty (IWT) abeyance during its engagements in UK & Europe, propagating that India is "weaponising water" by keeping the treaty in abeyance.

❌Along with that we got the input that the delegation is going to frame the suspension of the IWT as a climate security issue, arguing that the absence of institutional mechanisms for data sharing, flood warnings and transboundary water cooperation increases regional vulnerability as climate change accelerates glacier melt and disrupts monsoon patterns.

🎯Ahead of Kargil Vijay Diwas, JUI chief Fazal-ur-Rehman, popularly known as "Diesel Bhai," lashed out at the Pakistan Army, alleging that it hid its casualties during the 1999 Kargil War with India and has never made public the names of the Pakistani soldiers killed in the Kargil War, whose death toll, he claimed, runs into the hundreds.
