🚨 ISIS-K Claims Attack in Bajaur

ISIS-K has claimed responsibility for the killing of a Pakistani Army officer in Dama Dola village, Mamund Tehsil, Bajaur District.

According to the group’s statement, the officer was shot dead with a pistol during the attack. ISIS-K further claims its fighters seized the officer’s service pistol and motorcycle before withdrawing from the scene.

❗Jamaat-ul-Ahrar (JuA) has officially announced its re-establishment as an independent militant organisation, formally ending its reunification with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and reverting to its pre-August 2020 autonomous status.

⭐In a statement released on 4 July, JuA said the decision followed a “lengthy consultative process,” citing organizational injustice, marginalisation, leadership disputes, and the loss of its founding emir, Omar Khalid Khorasani. The group claims it exercised restraint for years to avoid internal bloodshed but alleges continued attempts to sideline and target its members ultimately made separation unavoidable.

⭐JuA announced that it will now operate independently under the leadership of Umar Khorasani, retaining full authority over its political, military, and organisational affairs while reaffirming its intention to continue its militant campaign in Pakistan.
