Two plausible scenarios:

1️⃣ A coordinated false flag dynamic involving ISI and ISKP. Recent credible inputs circulating in Indian media spoke about a triad network of ISI, LeT and ISKP operating from a camp in Khyber district KPK headed by Hafiz Zubair Mujahid, a former liaison between LeT and ISI who facilitated PAFF infiltration during 2021 to 2024 through the Nai brothers Rafiq Nai and Shamsher Nai.

2️⃣ Low Probability: TTP or its affiliates executed the attack. TTP has not issued any denial so far, which keeps the possibility open.

To maintain plausible deniability and simultaneously show action against ISKP, a few days back, Pakistani operatives reportedly targeted the joint LeT ISKP camp in Khyber district using unidentified means, likely a drone strike. In that backdrop, the present attack may help project Pakistan internationally as a victim of terrorism and indirectly distance Rawalpindi from ISKP.

❗Through indirect channels, TTP has denied the attacks. Still waiting for the official denial.

🚨🚨 Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has officially DENIED involvement in the explosion at the Shia Imambargah Qasr-e-Khadijatul Kubra in the Tralya area of Islamabad.

📄 In a statement issued by TTP spokesperson Muhammad Khurasani, the group said the attack has no connection to TTP, reiterating that its stated targets are Pakistan’s security institutions and their alleged collaborators.

✍Last Month 5 members of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) have defected to a local “dagli” of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in the Surani area of Bannu district of disputed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

✍ TTP is running agressive campaign to switch distrungled cadres of Jaish into TTP. Many JeM members who Pashtun are angry with policies of ISI & GHQ. They are pledging their allegience to TTP.

✍ Many Pro TTP Leaders and Jamāʿat-ul-Ahrar (JuA) are calling for merger of JeM with TTP. Distrungled JeM cadres are providing information about ISI officers who were funding their terror activities to TTP.
