The latest BLF publication describes the Nokundi incident (30 Nov 2025) as a decisive blow to Pakistan’s military and economic narrative in Balochistan.

The article argues that Pakistan’s survival strategy has long relied on extracting Baloch resources through force, citing Sui gas, Saindak, CPEC, and Reko Diq as projects imposed without consent and sustained through militarisation.

According to the BLF, repeated attacks on foreign-linked projects from the 1990s to CPEC convoys and now Nokundi, demonstrate that no investment is viable in Balochistan without Baloch political acceptance.

The Nokundi operation is framed as a warning to foreign states and companies, including China, the US, Saudi Arabia, and Barrick Gold, that relying on Pakistan’s security guarantees exposes capital, personnel, and credibility.
