🚨NOKUNDI SUICIDE BOMBING & INFILTRATION ATTACK

A suicide bomber detonated himself at the main gate of the Frontier Corps Headquarters in Nokundi, Chaghi, after which additional armed assailants infiltrated the camp, triggering a sustained close-quarters engagement with Pakistani security forces.

Local sources report multiple explosions and prolonged small-arms fire for over an hour, indicating a high-intensity confrontation inside and around the facility.

🚨UPDATE - NOKUNDI/SAINDAK FOREIGNERS’ RESIDENCE ATTACK

Armed attackers targeted the residential compound housing foreign staff working on the Nokundi–Saindak mining project.
Attackers reportedly breached the camp perimeter by detonating a suicide bomber on a security commando stationed at the entrance, enabling the assault team to enter the facility.

The foreign personnel at this site are understood to be Chinese workers associated with the Saindak Copper–Gold Project.

🚨UPDATE - BLF CLAIMS ATTACK ON FOREIGN STAFF COMPOUND IN NOKUNDI

The SOB unit of the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for a major assault on the central compound housing foreign engineers and staff associated with the Reko Diq and Saindak mining projects in Nokundi, Chaghi.

BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch stated that the subunit launched a heavy attack on the facility and that the operation remains ongoing, with a detailed statement to follow.

This incident occurs as Reko Diq has recently attracted renewed international interest, including U.S. engagement in potential financing and critical-minerals cooperation, further raising the strategic value of foreign-staff installations in the area.

The BLF has released the photo of the Fidayee attacker involved in the assault on the foreign-staff compound in Nokundi, Chaghi.
BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch identified her as Zareena Rafiq (Trang Mahoo), who detonated herself at the barrier to allow the SOB unit to breach the main compound.

⚠️ This attack is significant because it appears to be the first time the BLF has used a suicide bomber, a tactic previously associated almost entirely with the BLA’s Majeed Brigade. It suggests the BLF is adopting methods it hasn’t used before, possibly learning from or competing with other Baloch groups.

The use of a female bomber also stands out. It shows a growing willingness among Baloch militant factions to deploy women in frontline, high-impact roles, a trend that has been gradually gaining momentum across the insurgency and terrorism landscape. Recently, Jaish and Lashkar have increased the attempts to radicalise and recruit female cadres.

Targeting a compound linked to the Saindak and Reko Diq projects, where Chinese companies and a Canadian firm operate, highlights a clear intention to strike high-value, foreign-linked assets with economic and geopolitical significance.

Wajid Aziz’s nephew Osama Zahid, who is PML-N’s candidate for the assembly from Tatta, and his brother Ammar Zahid have also looted billions by leveraging the influence of their two general uncles.

Now, in the infighting among the generals, Fiaz Aziz and Osama Zahid have gotten caught in the crossfire.

🚨 UPDATE - NOKUNDI CLEARANCE OPERATION

The clearance operation at the FC Headquarters in Nokundi, Chaghi has now entered its 16th hour.
Current reports indicate that four of the six attackers have been neutralised, while the remaining assailants continue to hold positions inside the compound.

Intermittent gunfire and explosions are still being reported, and aerial support has been deployed to assist ground units.

With at least eight personnel confirmed dead and multiple others severely injured, casualty figures may rise as the operation progresses.
