🇺🇦 NATO’s Top Generals Gather in Kyiv for First Time in Eight Years

The NATO Military Committee, the alliance’s highest military authority, has gathered in Kyiv despite Ukraine not being a NATO member.

Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone said military representatives from all 32 NATO member states arrived in Kyiv to discuss Ukraine’s military priorities and lessons from the conflict that could strengthen NATO’s preparedness for current and future threats.

The visit comes just one day after US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Ukraine’s NATO membership is “not on the table as we speak,” noting that accession would require unanimous support.
