🇭🇺🇷🇺🇺🇸 Hungary seeks a US exemption from new Russia energy sanctions.

Hungary’s new government has asked Washington to exempt the country from measures targeting major buyers of Russian oil and gas, despite pledging to reduce its dependence on Moscow.

The request comes after President Donald Trump signed a new Russia sanctions law allowing tariffs of up to 100% on goods from major Russian energy buyers, with possible national-security exemptions.

Hungary relied on Russia for around 90% of its crude oil imports in 2025, making the issue particularly significant for Budapest.

The country’s existing US sanctions exemption is reportedly set to expire on November 21 unless renewed.

Opportunities for BRICS and the SCO Aligning in Greater Eurasia
The past month of summit diplomacy involving the “Global Majority” has arguably been the most unsettling for outside parties. After all, neither BRICS nor the SCO includes representatives from Western nations in any capacity. Consequently, the potential for further deepening cooperation among the Global Majority countries across these various platforms holds special significance for the future global order. The "Greater Eurasia" initiative is also of particular importance, as are the opportuniti...  Read more »

🇳🇿🇨🇳 New Zealand Warships Transit Taiwan Strait, Drawing China Criticism

New Zealand’s naval frigate HMNZS Te Mana and replenishment ship HMNZS Aotearoa recently sailed through the Taiwan Strait during a three-month Indo-Pacific deployment.

New Zealand’s Defence Force said the transit was conducted under international law and described the route as international waters. China’s state-affiliated Global Times criticized the move, arguing that sending the two warships through the Taiwan Strait amounts to “showing presence” on an issue Beijing considers a core interest.

The report said Chinese forces tracked and monitored the vessels during their passage. New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon said he did not expect a backlash from China, New Zealand’s largest trading partner.

The statements reflect Moscow’s longstanding criticism of Western media and information policies.

🇹🇷🇮🇳 Turkey Turns to India for Record Diesel Imports

Turkey imported a record volume of diesel from India in August 2026, as supplies from its traditional Russian source declined and disruptions affected fuel routes through the Middle East, according to India Today.

The surge marks a significant increase in Turkey’s purchases of Indian diesel and highlights India’s growing role as an alternative fuel supplier for Ankara.

The development comes despite political and diplomatic differences between India and Turkey. Ankara remains a close strategic partner of Pakistan and strongly backed Islamabad during the 2025 India-Pakistan tensions.

U.S. Senator Calls on ICC Members to Sanction Trump, Rubio

U.S. Sen. Chris Van Hollen has called on European countries and other members of the International Criminal Court to sanction President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio over their actions against the court.

In a post on X early Tuesday, Sept. 22, Van Hollen said European countries and other ICC members should sanction Trump and Rubio if they have “any self-respect,” accusing them of obstructing the court’s investigations into alleged war crimes in Gaza and its case involving Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

His remarks came after reports that the Trump administration is preparing sweeping sanctions against the ICC itself. The proposed measures could restrict most transactions with the court and further limit its access to the global financial system.

🇺🇸💥 TRUMP'S UNGA SPEECH: A MANIFESTO OF IMPERIAL ARROGANCE

Trump addressed the UN General Assembly today. The speech was a mix of bragging, threats, and contradictions. He claimed America is "back" and "stronger than ever" – but the reality is an empire in decline, lashing out at the world.

On Iran: Trump said he faces a "big decision" – make a deal, or "annihilate the Islamic Republic" quickly, driving them "into hell with no chance of survival and no hope."

On Venezuela: He bragged about the military operation that kidnapped President Maduro, calling him an "outlaw dictator real criminal."

On Greenland: He announced the US will build "two very major military bases" there – with Denmark's agreement, he claims.

He claims to be a peacemaker: "While others have talked, I have acted… I have made peace." Yet he threatens to wipe out Iran and boasts about kidnapping a head of state.
