🇷🇺💪 PESKOV: Russia Has Adapted to 30,000+ Sanctions – "We Have No Disputes with Europe"

The Kremlin has delivered a message of resilience and restraint: Russia has weathered the West's sanctions storm, and it poses no threat to Europe. The real threat, Peskov says, is NATO itself.

📊 Russia has adapted to over 30,000 sanctions – and found ways to minimise their impact.

🌍 Trading partners have "unanimously" rejected the US policy of imposing "hellish sanctions" on Moscow.

🇪🇺 "No disagreements with European countries that could be a source of conflict." Moscow distinguishes between disputes with individual states and its opposition to NATO's policies.

🚢 On NATO: The bloc is integrating commercial shipping networks into its operations – making it an "instrument for confrontation."

🇮🇷🏅 IRAN AT THE ASIAN GAMES: Sports Diplomacy and the "Look East" Strategy

Iran's participation in the Nagoya Asian Games goes beyond sport. It reflects Tehran's strategic pivot toward Asia, its ties with China and Russia, and the role of sports diplomacy in a divided region.

🌏 "Look East" strategy in action: Facing Western sanctions and diplomatic deadlocks, Iran is deepening engagement with Asian powers.

🕊️ Symbolism with purpose: The Iranian delegation is named "Angels of the Noble Family of Minab" – a tribute to the school targeted in a US‑Israeli airstrike earlier this year.

📜 Historical roots: Iran played a key role at the 1974 Tehran Asian Games, helping facilitate China's entry into the Asian Games Federation.

🤝 Multiple relationships, one region: Iran can strengthen ties with China and Russia while participating in a Japan‑hosted event.

🇾🇪💥 HOUTHI LEADER CHALLENGES SAUDI SYMPATHIZERS: "Would You Accept What Yemen Has Endured?"

In a powerful address, Abdul‑Malik al‑Houthi has exposed the hypocrisy of nations that shed tears for Saudi oil facilities while ignoring Yemen's suffering – and laid out the legal and moral case for resistance.

🗣️ "Will they accept the restrictions imposed on commercial imports to our country – requiring them to remain for months in other countries for inspection, scrutiny, and arbitrary procedures, piece by piece? As a result, these goods do not reach our markets except at exorbitant prices?"

💰 "Will you also accept the restrictions that deprive them of their oil and gas wealth and their public resources – and that they remain completely deprived of them?"

🇬🇧🇸🇦 UK CLOSE TO BACKING SAUDI ARABIA AGAINST HOUTHIS – Drawn Into Another Yemen War

Prime Minister Andy Burnham is leaning toward offering military support to Saudi Arabia – including possible aerial refueling – as the kingdom comes under frequent Houthi attack. It would be one of his first major military decisions since taking office.

🇬🇧 The UK may provide aerial‑refueling support to the Saudi military – and will lobby other nations to do the same.

🎯 London claims aiding Riyadh would stabilise the region and reduce threats to ships in the Bab‑el‑Mandeb Strait.

🇺🇸 The US has so far refused to provide military support beyond intelligence – it wants to wind down the Iran war and avoid new escalation.

🇭🇺🇷🇺🇺🇸 Hungary seeks a US exemption from new Russia energy sanctions.

Hungary’s new government has asked Washington to exempt the country from measures targeting major buyers of Russian oil and gas, despite pledging to reduce its dependence on Moscow.

The request comes after President Donald Trump signed a new Russia sanctions law allowing tariffs of up to 100% on goods from major Russian energy buyers, with possible national-security exemptions.

Hungary relied on Russia for around 90% of its crude oil imports in 2025, making the issue particularly significant for Budapest.

The country’s existing US sanctions exemption is reportedly set to expire on November 21 unless renewed.

🇺🇸 U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Mike Waltz said civilian casualties resulting from the U.S.-Israeli war with Iran were “unintentional and incidental,” while acknowledging that any such deaths remain under Pentagon investigation.

🇺🇸 Waltz also said President Donald Trump would criticize the U.N. in his Tuesday address to the General Assembly over a report alleging that U.S. forces may have committed war crimes in two attacks on Iran in February.

🇺🇳 A U.N. fact-finding mission said U.S. forces unlawfully struck a school and a sports complex in Iran, killing more than 120 children.

Opportunities for BRICS and the SCO Aligning in Greater Eurasia
The past month of summit diplomacy involving the “Global Majority” has arguably been the most unsettling for outside parties. After all, neither BRICS nor the SCO includes representatives from Western nations in any capacity. Consequently, the potential for further deepening cooperation among the Global Majority countries across these various platforms holds special significance for the future global order. The "Greater Eurasia" initiative is also of particular importance, as are the opportuniti...  Read more »

🇳🇿🇨🇳 New Zealand Warships Transit Taiwan Strait, Drawing China Criticism

New Zealand’s naval frigate HMNZS Te Mana and replenishment ship HMNZS Aotearoa recently sailed through the Taiwan Strait during a three-month Indo-Pacific deployment.

New Zealand’s Defence Force said the transit was conducted under international law and described the route as international waters. China’s state-affiliated Global Times criticized the move, arguing that sending the two warships through the Taiwan Strait amounts to “showing presence” on an issue Beijing considers a core interest.

The report said Chinese forces tracked and monitored the vessels during their passage. New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon said he did not expect a backlash from China, New Zealand’s largest trading partner.
