🇺🇸🇮🇷 Washington says the door remains open for Iran to return to negotiations.
US Ambassador to the UN Mike Waltz said the Trump administration believes “time is on its side” in the conflict with Iran, while calling on Tehran to return to the negotiating table.
Waltz also rejected reports that Iran has demanded an end to US sanctions and reparations as conditions for renewed talks.
He argued that economic pressure has weakened Iran, while saying Washington hopes Tehran will return to diplomacy “peacefully.”
The remarks come as tensions remain high over the Strait of Hormuz and the wider US-Iran conflict.

🇶🇦🌍 Qatar warns the Iran war has sent “shock waves” far beyond the Middle East.
Qatar’s Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani described the economic fallout from the US-Israeli war on Iran as “an earthquake,” saying disruptions are affecting energy supplies, shipping routes, investment and regional security.
He called for a regional framework where sovereignty is respected and no state is left permanently exposed to insecurity.
Qatar also announced plans to invest more than $38 billion in domestic infrastructure over the next five years, while continuing efforts to mediate between Washington and Tehran.
With the UN General Assembly beginning this week, Middle East security and the global economic impact of the conflict are expected to remain major diplomatic issues.

🇹🇷🇺🇸 Türkiye is seeking a way out of the CAATSA–S-400 dispute ahead of Erdogan-Trump talks.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said Ankara and Washington are exploring “creative ideas” to resolve the S-400 issue and lift US defence sanctions on Türkiye.
Fidan said CAATSA sanctions remain an obstacle for Türkiye’s Presidency of Defence Industries, while details of the proposed solutions have not been disclosed.
The dispute dates back to Türkiye’s purchase of Russia’s S-400 air defence system. Washington imposed CAATSA sanctions in 2020 and removed Türkiye from the F-35 programme in 2019.
Trump had pledged in July to lift the sanctions, saying the US does not want to sanction its allies.

The leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement has alleged that Saudi Arabia is seeking to draw Turkey and Pakistan into the war in Yemen and is asking the two countries for assistance to achieve that goal.
🇸🇦| 🇵🇰|🇹🇷 He said Saudi airstrikes on Yemen have surpassed 760 and questioned whether such a number of attacks on Pakistan or Turkey would not have triggered a broad reaction and crisis.
The Ansarullah leader also alleged that Saudi Arabia is seeking to bring fighters from Syria to Yemen to join the war. He urged Turkey and Pakistan not to become involved in what he described as political and financial interests promised by Saudi Arabia.
He also criticized Saudi Arabia’s policies toward Islamic holy sites, saying nations should not overlook the country’s policies simply because Saudi Arabia controls those sites.

🇺🇸🤡 VANCE'S SPIN CYCLE: "Iran Is Terrorizing Shipping" – While the US Blockades Iran's Ports
The US Vice President says the quiet part out loud: Washington wants to distract from its own failures by blaming Iran for high gas prices.
⛽ On gas prices: "Because the Iranians are terrorizing international shipping, energy prices are elevated." He suggested states give Americans relief from gas taxes.
🗣️ On media bans: CNN, MS NOW, and Politico are suing over White House access. Vance: "If you're gonna engage in what is effectively far-left propaganda, why would a Republican White House give you special access?"
🛢️ On Hormuz: "We continue to see a substantial amount of oil and gas flow through the Strait of Hormuz despite the Iranians terrorizing ships every single day."
☢️ On the war: "Iran can't have a nuclear weapon. When we took action, they responded by terrorizing international shipping."

🇷🇺💪 PESKOV: Russia Has Adapted to 30,000+ Sanctions – "We Have No Disputes with Europe"
The Kremlin has delivered a message of resilience and restraint: Russia has weathered the West's sanctions storm, and it poses no threat to Europe. The real threat, Peskov says, is NATO itself.
📊 Russia has adapted to over 30,000 sanctions – and found ways to minimise their impact.
🌍 Trading partners have "unanimously" rejected the US policy of imposing "hellish sanctions" on Moscow.
🇪🇺 "No disagreements with European countries that could be a source of conflict." Moscow distinguishes between disputes with individual states and its opposition to NATO's policies.
