🇮🇷🇴🇲 IRAN & OMAN REACH FINAL HORMUZ AGREEMENT – US Southern Route Sidelined

Tehran and Muscat have finalised a new framework for managing the Strait of Hormuz – and the US-pushed southern route will remain closed.

· 🌊 Entry into the Persian Gulf would run entirely through Iranian territorial waters.

· 🚢 Exit would partly transit Iranian waters – all traffic under Iranian regulations.

· 🇴🇲 The agreement is solely between Iran and Oman – other Gulf states and Iraq will only be informed.

· 🚫 It replaces the southern route the US had pushed to reopen – and does not constitute a reopening of the Strait.
