🇵🇸 Gaza death toll surpasses 73,400 as Israeli fire kills 9 more

At least nine Palestinians were killed and 36 injured in Gaza over the past 24 hours, according to the Gaza Health Ministry, pushing the reported death toll since October 2023 to 73,431.

The ministry said the latest deaths included six people killed by Israeli forces, two who died from previous wounds and one body recovered from the rubble. Total reported injuries have now reached 174,437.

Israeli forces also reportedly opened heavy fire toward homes and displacement camps in southern Gaza, while artillery struck areas around Bureij refugee camp and Wadi Gaza. In northern Gaza, Beit Lahia came under heavy fire and shelling.

The casualties were reported despite the October 2025 ceasefire and US calls for Israel to halt strikes.

An engineer behind this 400-meter-running humanoid robot explained why its form looks so wonderfully weird.

The team originally gave it a human-style arm swing, but the motion put too much strain on the shoulder joints, caused overheating and stopped the robot from finishing 400 meters.

So during simulated learning, the robot gradually came up with its own solution: keep its hands up near its face, reduce shoulder movement and let the legs do the work.

Nobody taught it to run like this. It basically figured out its own weird little technique.

A dramatic rescue unfolded near Gangnam Station in South Korea after a woman stepped off the edge of a 19th-floor rooftop.


In a split-second reaction, one police officer lunged over the ledge, grabbing hold of her and stopping her from falling as a second officer rushed in to help.


The two held her suspended until emergency crews could complete the rescue.

🇲🇾🇨🇳 Malaysia’s Anwar puts China ties and non-alignment in focus

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has triggered fresh debate over Malaysia’s geopolitical position after saying Taiwan is “part of China, period” and suggesting Beijing’s use of force could be viewed through the lens of territorial unity.

Beijing welcomed the remarks, while Taiwan warned they could hurt Taiwanese investment in Malaysia’s semiconductor sector.

But analysts say the comments do not necessarily signal a Malaysian shift into China’s camp. Malaysia has long recognised Beijing’s position on Taiwan, while continuing defence cooperation with the US and other Western powers through the Five Power Defence Arrangements.
