Twenty Ethiopians linked to a youth team disappeared in Gothenburg on the day of the Gothia Cup final, in what police suspect may have been a coordinated attempt to remain in Sweden.

The Gothia Cup, also known as the World Youth Cup, featured teams from 77 countries this year, including four from Ethiopia.

According to Swedish police, staff at the school where the group was staying discovered that the entire team and several accompanying adults had vanished.

‘We have no idea whether they are trying to stay in Sweden,’ an officer from the missing persons unit said

The U.S. Federal Communications Commission has approved a satellite designed to reflect sunlight onto nighttime areas — despite criticism from astronomers and environmentalists.
