🇮🇳🇮🇷 JUST IN: India says it is ready to help establish security in the region amid rising tensions surrounding Iran.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the BRICS foreign ministers’ meeting in New Delhi.
During the talks,
Iran briefed India on the latest developments surrounding the US-Israeli war against Tehran and its regional consequences.
Modi responded by stressing the importance of stability,
security,
and preserving relations between India and Iran.
But one line stood out the most:
India says it is ready to help establish regional security.
As the Middle East faces growing instability,
major powers are quietly positioning themselves diplomatically.
India appears to be signaling that it wants a larger role in shaping the region’s future,
not just economically,
but strategically as well.
Behind the scenes,
new alignments continue to emerge across Eurasia and the Middle East.

🇫🇷 JUST IN: A leaked campaign memo reportedly advised French politician Raphael Glucksmann to focus on wealthy older voters, and largely ignore poorer voters ahead of the 2027 election.
According to Politico,
the internal document suggested prioritizing affluent,
pro-European voters over 50,
including retirees and upper-middle-class professionals.
Meanwhile, younger voters, single parents,lower-income citizens, and residents of immigrant-heavy areas were reportedly seen as less valuable politically.
The reason?
Many of those groups are believed to lean toward left-wing rival Jean-Luc Mélenchon.
Glucksmann’s team insists the document was only a “working paper.” But the leak is already fueling criticism that parts of Europe’s political elite are becoming increasingly disconnected from ordinary voters.
The controversy comes as France prepares for a major political transition after Emmanuel Macron,
who cannot run again in 2027.

🚨🇩🇪 JUST IN: Germany’s intelligence agency has reportedly classified some pro-Palestinian symbols — including the watermelon 🍉 and Handala — as signs of “secular extremism.”
A new BfV dossier links certain protest symbols and slogans, including “From the river to the sea,” to extremist activity.
The report also claims pro-Palestinian activism overlaps with anti-Israel and antisemitic narratives.
Critics say Germany is increasingly tightening restrictions on pro-Palestine protests since the Gaza war began.
Supporters argue it is necessary for national security and historical responsibility.
The debate highlights a growing clash in Europe over protest, free speech, and how extremism is defined.

🇷🇺🇮🇳 BREAKING: India and Russia are preparing for another major summit.
Russian FM Sergey Lavrov says Prime Minister Narendra Modi has confirmed a visit to Moscow later this year.
The meeting could deepen cooperation on:
• Energy
• Trade & transport
• Nuclear power
• Defense manufacturing
• Space cooperation
Lavrov also revealed that Vladimir Putin may visit India for the upcoming BRICS summit.
Despite Western pressure and past US tariff threats, India continues buying Russian oil based on what New Delhi calls its “national interests.”
Moscow and New Delhi are now pushing for stronger independent payment systems and transport corridors to bypass Western pressure.
The Russia–India strategic partnership is entering another phase.

Bangladesh is moving ahead with the massive $2.8 billion Padma Barrage project because it no longer fully trusts diplomacy alone to secure enough water from India.
The project aims to store monsoon water from the Padma River and release it during dry seasons, when southwest Bangladesh faces severe water shortages, salinity, and river decline.
The article says the move is deeply connected to long-standing tensions over India’s Farakka Barrage and the 1996 Ganges Water Sharing Treaty, which expires in December 2026.
Experts warn the barrage cannot solve everything because Bangladesh still depends on upstream water flow from India. Critics also fear sediment buildup, high costs, and weak feasibility planning could hurt the project.
Overall, the article presents the Padma Barrage as both:
a climate and water-security project,
and a sign of Bangladesh’s declining confidence in future water-sharing negotiations with India.
