🇮🇷 JUST IN: Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei said Iran has the full right to pursue a peaceful nuclear program under the NPT and cannot be deprived of rights granted by the treaty.
In an extensive interview with India Today, Baqaei said repeated IAEA reports have confirmed the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear activities, while accusing the United States of continuing to pressure Tehran over its nuclear program. He said Iran is prioritizing efforts to end the war, reopen the Strait of Hormuz, and stop what he described as a US “blockade.”
Baqaei also stated that Iran would not accept “one-sided demands” in negotiations and warned that Iran’s armed forces are prepared for any scenario. He further called for Israel’s nuclear program to be placed under international supervision.
