North Korea warns US–South Korea drills could cause “unimaginably terrible consequences” 🇰🇵🇰🇷

Kim Yo Jong, the sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, accused the United States and South Korea of “destroying the stability” of East Asia as the two countries started their annual 10-day joint Freedom Shield military exercises on the Korean Peninsula. “The muscle-flexing of the hostile forces near the areas of our state’s sovereignty and security may cause unimaginably terrible consequences,” Kim Yo Jong said on Tuesday, according to the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA). The exercises involve 18,000 South Korean and US military personnel and include 22 field training drills, according to South Korea’s Yonhap News Agency.

Breaking: 🇨🇳 Chinese Scientists Build World’s First 20GW Microwave Weapon Capable of 60-Second Bursts.

According to a report by the South China Morning Post. The system, known as TPG1000Cs, was developed by researchers at the Northwest Institute of Nuclear Technology in Xi’an.

Scientists said the device can produce 20 gigawatts of microwave energy, far exceeding previous systems that could operate continuously for only about three seconds. The researchers reported stable operation through more than 200,000 pulses, maintaining peak output during tests lasting one minute.

The system measures about four metres in length and weighs roughly five tonnes, allowing it to be mounted on trucks, warships, aircraft or satellites. Researchers also noted that a ground-based microwave weapon with more than 1 gigawatt output could disrupt or damage satellites in low Earth orbit.
