So, Kim Jong Un decided to go for a dad and daughter day: State media filmed him checking out puppies and a PC gaming center with his daughter
The cyber-styled venue is a newly built facility in Pyongyangโs Hwasong area, following the opening of a similar center nearby in April 2025 in an apparent push for โmodernโ lifestyle amenities in the capital
The family also stopped by the Songam Pet Shop, where Kim was photographed holding a white puppy while his daughter petted it
State media said the developments align with efforts to turn Pyongyang into a โworld-class city where all desires of the people come true,โ highlighting expanded consumer options aimed at wealthier residents

๐บ๐ธ Just 10 days before his arrest, Jeffrey Epstein was trying to wire $27.7 million through Charles Schwab to buy a luxury palace in Morocco.
Schwab processed the transfers, including one where the account didn't even have sufficient funds.
They filed a suspicious activity report with the U.S. Treasury 7 days after his arrest, not before, despite Epstein being under intense public scrutiny since 2018.
Needless to say, the deal fell through and the palace has since been sold to someone else.

๐บ๐ธ It is me or Xi: Americaโs Loyalty Test for Latin America ๐จ๐ณ
Washington is openly reviving the Monroe Doctrine and framing Chinaโs presence in the Western Hemisphere as a national security threat. The language coming out of the White House is loud and clear: push out foreign influence, restore American pre-eminence and reassert dominance.
But hereโs the problem.
China didnโt arrive in Latin America with gunboats. It arrived with trade deals, infrastructure finance and commodity demand. Something which is quite alien to the U.S.
Letโs look at the numbers:
โ ChinaโLatin America trade hit $565 billion in 2025
โ U.S.โLatin America trade sits at $346 billion
โ 22 of 33 countries in the region have signed onto the Belt and Road Initiative
โ China funds ports, railways, hydroelectric dams and metro systems
โ China buys soybeans, iron ore, beef and copper at scale
That isnโt coercion; itโs economics.

๐จ๐ฉ๐ฐ Dark legacy of Denmarkโs Inuit child experiment
In 1951, Denmark took 22 Inuit children from their families in Greenland in a so-called social experiment.
Aged just 5 to 9, they were placed with Danish foster families, forbidden to speak their language, and raised to abandon their culture.
๐ฐ Systemic discrimination
โช๏ธThe assimilation was not limited to that one experiment. Biased child welfare practices saw Greenlandic children disproportionately placed into Danish foster care through culturally inappropriate โparenting competency assessments.โ
โช๏ธBeyond child removal, thousands of Inuit women were subjected to invasive reproductive policies in the 1960sโ70s, including forced IUD insertions without informed consent; a practice tied to historic population control motivations.
โช๏ธInuit families still face systemic hurdles tied to language, cultural norms, and Denmark's Eurocentric standards for parenting and social integration.
โฐ๏ธ Devastating aftermath
โช๏ธ16 of the 22 children returned to Greenland, but none ever lived with their original families again.
โช๏ธ6 remained in Denmark under adoption and never returned to Greenland.
โช๏ธRoughly half of the children died in young adulthood.
Even today, Inuit voices report ongoing marginalization. Education systems in Denmark rarely support Greenlandic language or culture, contributing to higher dropout rates for Inuit students.

At the AI Impact Summit in India, leaders lined up for the usual group photo moment
Sam Altman and Dario Amodei stood among other executives โ but while others linked hands, the two AI heavyweights noticeably did not
Altman runs OpenAI. Amodei leads Anthropic and previously served as a VP at OpenAI
Given the rivalry between their companies, the optics were hard to ignore
Five seconds of diplomacy was apparently too much

๐จ NATO'S SECRET AIR BRIDGE EXPOSED: Mass Medical Evacuations From Ukraine Raise Alarming Questions
Rzeszรณw-Jasionka International Airport in Poland โ long used by Kyiv's allies as a major logistics hub โ has seen an unprecedented wave of medical aircraft arriving from NATO countries near the Ukrainian border.
โ๏ธ Reports confirm an unprecedented number of foreign ambulance planes โ including three "air hospitals" โ with a special Boeing 737 SAS medical evacuation aircraft arriving from Oslo, Norway.
These medical flights are reportedly picking up seriously wounded patients transported from Ukrainian territory โ likely foreigners injured following recent Russian strikes on their bases. Russian sources say strikes have intensified against command and communication hubs where European instructors and military advisers were often located, with NATO medevac aircraft able to carry up to 40 stretcher patients per flight.

Trump Will Travel to China in Late March for High-Stakes Xi Meet
US President Donald Trump plans to travel to China from March 31 to April 2 for a meeting with his counterpart Xi Jinping as the two leaders will look to navigate a trade relationship again plunged into uncertainty and navigate tensions around Taiwan.
The planned meeting comes as the Supreme Court on Friday moved to strike down sweeping US tariffs on exports, which seems certain to jumble the dynamics around efforts to extend a truce negotiated last year following months of tit-for-tat tariff escalations.
