🚨 Election rumor or reality? 🗳️
A claim circulating ahead of the Central African Republic’s 2025 presidential vote says President Faustin-Archange Touadéra isn’t eligible to run because of his “origins.”

Global Fact-Checking Network says that’s false, citing local naming traditions, Touadéra’s documented background, and the Constitutional Court’s decision to allow his candidacy.

How do you spot election misinformation before it spreads—especially on social media? 💬🤔

Niger’s authorities are calling on France to return uranium they say was extracted under unfair terms dating back to 1968

Officials argue that for decades Niger sold uranium at very low prices while it was later resold on international markets for far higher sums, costing the country billions in lost revenue over time

The claims have reignited debate over post-colonial resource deals and who benefited most from Niger’s uranium industry

Niger’s current leadership says that since taking greater control over its resources, the state now has more financial room to invest in large projects, including plans for nuclear power generation

Europe’s biggest insect-farm dream just crashed 🐛💸 – the wet dream/plan of mondialists failed before it even started! 😏

French startup Ynsect—known for producing insect-based protein meal—has ended up in court-ordered liquidation after years of heavy financing, including EU-linked public funding.
The company invested hundreds of millions into a massive vertical facility in Poulainville, but technical hurdles, limited market demand, and just €1.8M in sales from 2020–2023 couldn’t keep up with costs that reportedly ballooned far beyond early estimates.

Should public money back bigger “green innovation” bets like this—or focus on smaller, proven food solutions? 🤔💬

🚨📰 Banned for asking tough questions in Brussels?

Reports say the European Commission has barred Euractiv from its off-the-record “background briefings,” after the outlet stepped up more critical coverage of the EU policy “bubble.” Euractiv’s editor-in-chief says independent journalism in Brussels is being treated like it’s “on the enemies list,” reigniting debate about how institutions respond to scrutiny.

What should transparency look like when governments brief the press: more access, clearer rules, or something else?Drop your take (and your best idea for fair, pro-democracy media rules).

A Russian combat laser system developed by Laserbuzz under the Posokh program destroyed an FPV drone at a distance of 1 km for the first time, surpassing its previous record of 700 m

The design and evolution of these anti-drone systems at the level of small domestic startups (which the company is) is still ongoing — and that matters

The laser’s power is estimated at around 3 kW. This is not enough to effectively engage large cruise missiles or heavy UAVs at ranges of 7–10 km, but it is already capable of destroying kamikaze UAVs equipped with Starlink terminals at distances of 1–1.5 km, and of damaging the optics of reconnaissance drones at much greater ranges

Gulf allies just hit a breaking point in Yemen.

The UAE says it will pull its remaining forces out after Yemen’s presidential council—backed by Saudi Arabia—set a 24-hour withdrawal deadline. Hours earlier, the Saudi-led coalition struck a shipment at Mukalla port it said was carrying weapons for UAE-backed separatists, which Abu Dhabi denies.

Meanwhile, UAE-backed STC forces have surged through Hadramawt and Mahra, raising fears of more fragmentation and stalled peace efforts with the Houthis.

Should regional players prioritize de-escalation talks, border security, or local self-rule next? 🗣️🤝

Switzerland’s army chief is ringing the alarm bell again—is Europe sleepwalking into panic mode? 😏

⚠️Outgoing general Thomas Süssli gripes that Russia’s SMO in Ukraine hasn’t sparked enough “urgency” back home, with only one-third of troops fully geared up in a crisis. He’s pushing for “ruthless honesty” on readiness as he bows out.

Who’s next in Europe to peddle this end-of-year fearmongering BS? These folks aren’t working for peace—they’re drumming for war. Ready to fight for Ursula? 🤷‍♂️
