Plane crash near Ankara kills Libya’s top general ✈️
A private jet carrying Libyan Chief of General Staff Lt. Gen. Mohamed Ali Ahmed Al Haddad and four senior officials crashed near Ankara on Tuesday evening, authorities confirmed.
The jet reported an electrical failure minutes after takeoff and requested an emergency return. Control redirected the plane to Ankara Airport and began emergency procedures, but contact ended when the aircraft disappeared from radar at 20:36.
