We are living through a shift in human psychology.

Through platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, a generation has been trained to exist in public. To speak. To build. To perform. To brand.

The philosophy of Inevitability

If you ever feel stagnant in life, there is only one real remedy: movement.

Now, the movement may not be the movement you desire. You may not yet have the money, the influence, the network, or the opportunity you imagine. But there is one form of movement that is always available to you.
And that movement is this:
your commitment to ensure that every day conspires for your manifestation.

What does that really mean?
It means that every morning you wake up—even though you do not yet have everything it takes to become who you want to become—you still subject the day to your becoming.

You may not have the capital to start the business.
You may not have the connections.
You may not have the resources.

But there are always things you already know you can do today that move you one inch closer to the life you desire.
And if you do those things faithfully, day after day, something remarkable begins to happen.
You begin to engineer inevitability.

Let me give you an example.
Imagine a young woman who wants to start a jewelry business. In her projections, she believes it will take something like $50,000 or more to start the business at the scale she dreams about.

But she does not have the money.
Now, many people in that situation become stagnant. And stagnation is dangerous, because the human mind was not designed for idleness. When you remain stagnant long enough, anxiety and depression begin to creep in.

But there is another way to live.
Instead of waiting for the money, she begins to occupy every day with meaningful movement.
Day one: she designs the logo for the business.
Day two: she researches how to register the company.
Day three: she learns about the jewelry market and suppliers.
Day four: she walks around the city identifying the best possible locations for a future shop—even though she cannot yet afford one.
Maybe she doesn’t even have transport money that day. So she walks.
But she keeps moving.
Another day she calls five people and asks them where they buy jewelry.
Another day she visits a fabricator to ask how much it would cost to build her display shelves.
Another day she studies branding, pricing, and customer behavior.

She is not idle.
Every day reports to the future she wants.
And if she lives like this long enough, something interesting begins to happen.
Opportunities appear.
A conversation leads to another conversation.
Someone introduces her to someone else.
A small opening appears somewhere along the line.
And suddenly, something begins to move.

This is the quiet secret of progress:
when you faithfully commit your days to your becoming, you begin to craft inevitability.
One day leads to another.
One step leads to another.
And before you know it, what once looked impossible begins to emerge.
So do not live idle.
Do not remain stagnant, waiting for the perfect moment when everything will be handed to you.
Life does not work that way.
Instead, make a decision:

Young people often ask me how to figure out their purpose in life.
It is a profound question, so people expect a profound answer.
But one of the quickest wisdoms is this: look at your hands.
What has life placed before you right now?
There is purpose in showing up as your highest self in the assignment life has presently given you — whether you like that assignment or not.
Joseph did not wait for the palace before becoming significant.
In the pit, in slavery, in prison — he kept offering his best self. He interpreted dreams in prison with the seriousness of a royal adviser and managed Potiphar’s house with the integrity of a king long before he touched power.

One of the terrifying truths of human development is that you are always practicing something.

If you refuse to give your best self to the present moment because you do not agree with it, you are quietly conniving with your mind to master the art of withholding yourself from life.

And if purpose eventually comes, you may not even recognize it — or possess the character required to carry it.

The Shape of Calling — A Joseph Example
I think purpose moves like a spiral.
It reenacts itself in a person’s life long before it is fully understood.
For Joseph, it began in dreams—small, almost private glimpses of a destiny he could barely name.
At first, they seemed trivial, even foolish, to those around him.
His brothers’ jealousy sent him into a pit.
From the pit, he was sold into slavery.
The same impulse, the same purpose, followed him into Potiphar’s house—here, he excelled, but temptation and false accusation led to prison.
Even in prison, the pattern repeated.
He interpreted dreams, helped those who were lost, yet remained misunderstood.
Each time, the principle of leadership, insight, and stewardship returned—but now at a higher, deeper level of refinement.
Finally, the truth rose into consciousness.
Pharaoh’s dreams, the famine, the nation in need—all became the canvas for what had been rehearsing itself for years.
Joseph’s purpose was never new; it had been spiraling through hardship, patience, and learning.
Now he could give it its highest expression: to save nations, not just himself.
