Forwarding the below post from my friend Airika's channel Art With Aim, because I think this issue with DeSantis deserves more attention. On the one hand, he seems to delight in publicly putting on theatrical spectacles like this, but on the other hand, there are some suspicious things about him that ought to be questioned... like his signing a bill that prevents families and patients from being able to sue healthcare providers over covid-related injuries. I would not put it past them to have a puppet such as DeSantis who plays to the crowd publicly but is privately in their pocket. I don't believe we should have heroes or savior figures... we are the ones who must stand up and save ourselves. People like DeSantis can't, and won't, do the work for us. We must get creative and build alternatives to the corrupt and controlled systems already in place.
